I actually thought that the comic book parodies were better than your latest cartoon, but I think that it has more to do with the fact that they generally have more than one punchline.

You should be writing for a comedy show. Because, you're good at writing sketches, and your punchlines are very intelligent.
But also there you have something there about the X-men (or Marvel) universe that I can't really articulate. You capture it clearly and coherently in your own style.
You're very well balanced dude. I personally appreciate the good writing, and the quality of the comedy. But the animation helps, a lot.
